Rene got baptized! :) I will send some pictures
a bit later. We had a pretty good week. I dropped off Elder Shepherd and picked
up my new companion Elder Denton who served in Carson city (he replaced me when
I left Carson the first time last year). Things are actually going super well
though.

We
had some super good lessons this past week. We taught Oliva again. Its a 40
minute drive to her house but its super worth it, she is solid. She told us this
past week she really wants to change and how life shouldn't be the same always
and how she really wants to be baptized and she told her husband that if he
didn't want to be apart of it, he didn't have to, but, that she would be baptized
anyways, and she didn't care what he had to say about it. It was pretty intense
because shes like 60, that's super against normal mexican culture so it was
crazy to see.
Several
other really solid lessons too.We were able to teach some people we hadn't been
before so that was great.
We
had about 50 people at the baptism which was awesome, thats a LOT for a spanish
branch baptism.
